Ubisoft’s Upcoming Watch Dogs Legion Is Now Officially Announced, Coming With Many Playable Characters

Watch Dogs Legion

Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference kicked off today, and as expected from speculations, Ubisoft announced another Watch Dogs game called Watch Dogs Legion. All-new Watch Dogs Legion is announced to set in London, but there is a twist. As seen from the gameplay footage from Ubisoft, the new Watch Dogs Legion will not feature the story around one character, but the game lets you play with many characters.

The game revolves around multiple characters. The Ubisoft’s E3 press conference revealed gameplay walkthrough which showed multiple characters. Although that doesn’t mean infinite numbers of characters, there will be some limit on how many characters have left on basis of permadeath mechanics.

The gameplay of Watch Dogs Legion shows a group of rebels who are trying to take London back. In this group, the players will not be only playing with one character, which means if one character dies, the player will be shifted to another member of the rebel group. Moreover, the game will allow players to recruit more members since there is no lead character, the game will go on.

The rebel group is similar to the one players have already seen in Watch Dogs 2 called Deadsec. Meanwhile, the story shows that the UK has gone into pithole and has become a surveillance state.

From Piccadilly Circus to Camden Market, through to Scotland Yard, find and recruit new operatives into your resistance. Because in Watch Dogs Legion, you get to build your resistance from anyone you meet as you hack, infiltrate, and fight to take back a near-future London that is facing its downfall. Reclaim your future!

The game’s concept seems really great and is one of the most hyped announcements in E3 2019. The new Watch Dogs Legion will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on March 6, 2020.
