Last week many players reported the issues of Mortal Kombat 11 from microtransactions to the AI being too strong in many Towers. While NetherRealm Studios has released a new Mortal Kombat 11 patch for PlayStation 4 that has done many changes to the gameplay along with many fixes and gameplay improvements. It should be noted that this update is released only for PlayStation 4, while Xbox One, Switch and PC update is yet to be released.
The studio has reported that the new update is focussed to fix many exploits as reported by players. The new update has also changed the matchmaking and AI abilities on Towers. Moreover, this is the first update towards the NetherRealm response to microtransactions, although the studio has already reported that they have no intentions to gather profits from them and don’t want players to pay for microtransactions.
Not only that, but Studio has also announced to offer free in-game currency bundle to all of the Mortal Kombat 11 players. The bundle comes with 500,000 Koins, 500 Hearts, 1,000 Souls, and 1,000 Time Crystals. While they are only available for PlayStation 4 and will be released on other platforms soon.
NetherRealm Studios has reported fixing an exploit through an update which allowed players to set more than one character variation as default. Moreover, an issue of network disconnectivity during character customization is also fixed in the latest Mortal Kombat 11 patch. While rewards for the breakables in the Krypt are also increased.
NetherRealm Studios has confirmed to add more Mortal Kombat 11 updates in the next week. PC and Switch versions are reported to receive updates in two parts separately. One of them is coming any time soon, while Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will be receiving them in next week.
