The new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has been announced in the recent State of Play presentation which has set to expand the scale of the game even further. The new expansion is scheduled to arrive on September 6th this year and will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Meanwhile, Capcom has announced their plans to re-launch the game with the new game edition setting a new entry for the latest players.
The new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition will be re-released which includes all previous content with the latest Iceborne expansion with a price tag of $60 at launch. Capcom has announced that the new edition of the game is intended for new players along with those who are looking forward to buying the complete package of the game.
Well, that’s not it, Capcom has announced that the expansion will also be available separately for $40. While Deluxe edition of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will include special items, gears and new Yukumo armor with many new special hunting items.
Developers have announced that there is more content that will be uncovered on the expansion release. Apart from the latest challenges, players will be allowed to choose ranges of new upgrades and crafting items with a variety of gadgets. Speaking of weapons, there are many new monsters ready to battle in the new expansion, which includes Brute Wyverns Banbaro and blood-thirsty Velkana.
Recently, game publishers revealed that Monster Hunter World sales have recorded Capcom’s best selling game ever. The details have arrived from company’s financial year report, which has revealed that the latest RPG game has shipped over 12 million copies on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC releases. Capcom’s other titles like Resident Evil 2 remake shipped 4 million units, while Devil May Cry 5 only reaching for 2 million copies shipped since the game release.
