Microsoft’s Gears Tactics Development Is Still Underway

Despite game’s arrival in E3 2019, Microsoft has announced that the project isn’t canceled, hinting that Gears Tactics development is still underway. The Gears Tactics was originally revealed during the E3 2018 along with Gears 5 and Gears Pop. While the game remained never to be seen in the Microsoft’s Xbox press conference during this year E3.

With the absence of Gears Tactics during E3, the internet suddenly became the table of discussion whether the game has canceled or not. However, today Microsoft confirmed that the game is still under development and will be detailed soon. Game’s producer Rod Fergusson who has also worked on the whole series came forward under the discussion of Gears Tactics development.

Last year we wanted to really talk about all three games [Gears 5, Pop, and Tactics] and show that Microsoft is tripling down on the Gears of War franchise, but now that we’ve had that we’re really trying to make sure it’s not always this three-pack … We’ll talk about Gears Tactics later.

For the time, there aren’t any kind of release period or date announced for the title. Although the Gears 5 is scheduled to launch on September 10th this year. Moreover, Gears Pop will be joining iOS and Android in “later summer” 2019.

Additionally, the Microsoft E3 2019 conference revealed more Gears 5 details and announced a Terminator crossover in the game. Microsoft mentioned that the players will also receive a chance to get early access of the game ahead of its official release. Microsoft has announced that the Coalition is also working on a competitive multiplayer mode which will be ready for testing in July.

Meanwhile, this year during E3, Microsoft has laid some pretty huge announcements for its breathtaking fans. One of the huge announcement is Microsoft’s next-generation console, Project Scarlett. Meanwhile, some latest Xbox Project Scarlett details have revealed games running on higher frames along with faster loading speeds for any kind of title.
