Recently, Square Enix teased a new Marvel’s Avengers game, which is now officially revealed during E3 this year. More details have indicated that both Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are working together for the Marvel’s Avengers game. While today, during E3 Square Enix announced Avengers game release date with a first trailer of the upcoming title, which is scheduled for May 15th, 2020.
The new trailer for the game starts from the day when Avengers opened headquarter in San Fransisco. The announcement description reads:
The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
With the confirmed collaboration of both Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics, three more studios, Eidos-Montreal, Crystal Northwest and Nixxes Software will also work on the latest Marvel’s Avengers game. The voice actors for the latest game are also announced from which Nolan North will voice over for Tony Stark and Troy Baker will be doing voice over for Bruce Banner.
Crystal Dynamics Senior Community Manager Meagan Marie announced that the game launch is just the beginning of a whole lot of action-adventure. Although at the studio, developers are planning to deliver a narrative based story with the latest content on each interval after launch.
Additionally, Marie confirmed that the game will arrive without loot boxes and pay to win concepts. All the post-launch characters and heroes will be made free to all players who will have the core game.
The latest Avengers game story mode will be playable in solo as well as four-player co-op. The original Avengers like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Hulk are already included upon the game launch. The new Marvel’s Avengers game is scheduled for release on May 15, 2020.
