Google is Working on ‘Google Play Pass’ Subscription Service

In this era of subscription services, Google too is hoping the band wagon and working on ”Google Play Pass” subscription service. The subscription service will have its own app and Google is already developing that too.

Much like PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, Origin Access and Apple Arcade for iOS, Google too wants to join the video game subscription service. Reportedly, Google Play Pass subscription service will focus heavily on mobile gaming and other apps.

According to the leak, the subscription service will cost $4.99 per month and it will grant its subscribers access to hundred of premium version of apps and games. There will be no ads or in-app purchases whatsoever for subscribers of Google Play Pass.

There is no word on what kind of games will be available to subscribers of the service, however, the leak mentions few big games like Limbo, Stardew Valley and Marvel Pinball.

Google is aiming for ”No interruptions” as a primary benefit to the subscribers of the service. So far the leak mentions, No-adds and in-app purchases, it will be interesting to see what other interruptions will the subscribers by-pass after acquiring the pass.
