Ever since the release of FromSoftware’s most grossing title Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice, fans have been wondering what could be next in the studio. Although speculations on Bloodborne 2 has also started to pick up some heat lately, but these are all hints and rumors and there is no confirmation yet. Although the latest rumor suggests that announcement on FromSoftware’s new title is expected at this year E3.
The latest rumor has arrived from an industry insider “Omnipotent” who claims that FromSoftare’s new title will be unveiled at E3 2019. The insider has also successfully predicted many predictions in the past which also makes him trustworthy.
Moreover, FromSoftware has already drawn large attention towards Bloodborne through different easter eggs in Deracine. While Hidetaka Miyazaki and Yasuhiro Kitao has mentioned that Bloodborne part in the VR is a small tribute to the original game but through the fans expectations and reactions it has become more than that.
During an interview of FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki, he revealed that studio is working on two games right now. The statement reads:
We’ll need a little more time, but we’ll be able to tell everyone more about them once they take shape.
Above statements indicates that the titles are under development but they might not be under shape for a showcase to the community. Although the rumors on the FromSoftware’s new title is confirmed that it is under development.
Recently a new concept art has been showcased by FromSoftware which possibly hints towards a new game under development in the studio. Some have been suggesting that the studio has already started working on a new Sekiro Shadow Die Twice game. While the FromSoftware concept art is created by Ryo Fujimaki, lead designer for Bloodborne which hints towards Bloodborne 2 or Dark Souls 4.
The latest FromSoftware concept art from Fujimaki is the illustration of a dragon and a mermaid. While Fujimaki has mentioned that these images are for educational purposes only. Moreover, these arts also could be the leftover illustrations from the previous or canceled title from FromSoftware, but still, there are large possibilities that these arts hint towards a sequel of any series in the studio.
