There is a lot of speculation going around for Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Exotics as what kind of weapons will return from the first game to Destiny 2. We have our own list of exotic weapons that we think will return in the game along with the addition of new ones.
Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Exotics – Returning Weapons
01. Monte Carlo
This weapon was introduced in year 2 in Destiny 1. Monte Carlo is an exotic assault rifle which remained exclusive to PlayStation 4 owners of Destiny.
Monte Carlo was also introduced in one of the official videos of Destiny 2 by Bungie, where you can see a Guardian jumping down from a ship, holding a Monte Carlo exotic assault rifle in his hand.
This indicates that Bungie is considering Monte Carlo to feature again in Destiny 2. However, it is uncertain at this stage if the weapon will remain PlayStation 4 exclusive or not, if and only if it releases for Destiny 2.
02. No Time To Explain
This exotic pulse rifle weapon was first introduced as an upgraded version of The Stranger’s Rifle in Destiny 1. In an official video, we spotted the back side of the gun on a screen. Check out the image here below.
The front side of the gun was not shown but the back side of it pretty much gives it away that this exotic weapon is none other that No Time To Explain.
Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Exotics – New Weapons
01. Exotic Trace Rifle
Destiny 2 introduced trace rifles to guardians. We do not know the name of this new exotic rifle. However, the exotic perk so far we have known is ” hitting an enemy continuously with this weapon creates a bubble around that enemy, team mates can shot the bubble to land critical damage. The critical damage can also be buffed ”.
02. Exotic Hand Cannon
Another new addition to Destiny 2 is the exotic hand cannon. The weapon is currently not given an official name but we do know that it comes with a sniper scope. This could be the first exotic hand cannon in the game to give a lot of hit damage at longer ranges compromising the weapon stability.
Check the official image along with weapon stats here below.
03. Exotic Machine Gun
We may see addition of a new exotic machine gun in Destiny 2. The image attached below shows a machine gun showcased at Guardian Con event.
This exotic weapon from the looks of it is a blend of Vex and Hive weapon style. The weapon itself has a bug locked in a glass chamber near the bullets.
This sums up our speculations of returning and new Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Exotics weapon list. It is not official as of yet so we will have to wait for an official announcement from Bungie.
