With the latest announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 release date and breathtaking Keanu Reeves surprise, players rushed to pre-order the favorite yet most hyped title of the year. Cyberpunk 2077 pre-orders are now live, while something odd is going on with the title and Epic Games store and for some reason, and the pre-orders are not available on Epic Games store.
With the Epic Games claims for their Epic Games Store to provide best retailer service for developers, CD Projekt Red is not adding their upcoming title on Epic store. The game’s listing on Epic Games store is not available for the moment and it says “Coming Soon”. The actual reason for the anomaly is unknown for the moment, while the internet is now bombarding with questions and speculations.
According to some discussions, the CD Projekt Red might have pulled the Cyberpunk 2077 pre-orders because of 75% mega sale on Epic Games Store. As soon as the sale started, many developers pulled out their games from Epic Games store.
Epic Games should have consulted developers before launching the sales, and now the sale is risking them. Many developers like Ubisoft are also pulling their recently released titles on the store and the same thing would have been for Cyberpunk 2077.
CD Projekt Red is aware of the ongoing mega sale, due to which they didn’t add pre-orders on Epic Games store. Meanwhile, nothing is confirmed from CD Projekt Red nor Epic Games mentioned the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 pre-orders on Epic Games store. But it seems like CD Projekt Red will add the pre-orders for their upcoming game soon after the mega sale ends.
Moreover, the new Cyberpunk 2077 is now available with DRM free copy on GOG for $59.99. The new Cyberpunk 2077 is now available for pre-order and will be released on April 16, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
