Apart from the rumors on the internet suggesting the announcement of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, latest news from the game’s developers have revealed that five of the former Infinity Ward developers have returned to the studio. The return has been revealed from their LinkedIn profiles which possibly suggests that Infinity Ward’s next title could be Modern Warfare 4 as the team has already worked on previous Modern Warfare titles.
The returning developer team includes Mark Grigsby as Animation Director, Alex Roycewicz for the game designer, Geoff Smith as multiplayer design director, Joel Emslie as an art director, and Zied Rieke former founder of Infinity Ward. All of the team members have worked on at least one Modern Warfare game. Mark Grisby has worked on both Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 as animation director in the studio. While Zied Rieke has worked on all Modern Warfare titles and is now working as gameplay director in the studio.
Their return is also ambitious in the studio as all of the team members have laid a great role for the success of Modern Warfare series. To take Grisby who has helped in the designs for many weapons along with famous melee attack in Modern Warfare series which has been gratifying indeed.
On the other side, both Roycewicz and Smith has helped in designs for most successful maps in the series which include Overgrown and Wetwork to name a few. Ghost. Recker which is also the well-known character of the series was created by Emsile who worked for art director of the game. Moreover, he also worked for many in-game modes like Team Deathmatch in the game.
With this much hard working team and their most acclaimed titles of the franchise, studio indeed has something to announce soon. Moreover, the studio’s former developer Robert Bowling has also teased a new Modern Warfare title with obscure Tweets.
